The Building Inspection Department reviews all commercial and residential building requests. All types of residential and commercial construction work require building permits from the City's Building Inspection Department, including pools, residential room additions, storage sheds, etc. The department is responsible for the following:

• Issuing building permits
• Making inspections on all construction projects
• Processing contractor registrations
• Issuing certificates of occupancy

Inspections requested before 8:00 a.m. will be made between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Requests submitted after 8:00 a.m. and prior to Noon will be made between 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
