Our COR Summer Camp program is full of adventure! Camps explore DFW with weekly field trips, swimming pool visits, outdoor playtime, gym games, craft activities, and more! We accept children ages 5-15 across our 4 different Camps: Kinder, Playground, Elementary, and Teen. Please click the link above to learn more about each of our 4 camp options. 

*LOCATION CHANGE - KINDER, ELEMENTARY & TEEN CAMP*
 Kinder, Elementary, and Teen Camps will be located at Apollo Junior High School for summer 2024. Playground Camp will continue to take place at Heights Park and Recreation Center.

SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAMS 
Our team aims to offer additional programming on most major student holidays based on the Richardson Independent School District (RISD) calendar. Below is a sample schedule for a typical day at one of our day camps, including Recess and the Fall/Winter/Spring Break camps. 

DAILY SCHEDULE:
 7:30AM - 9AM: Drop Off at Heights Rec Center
9AM - 10AM: Morning Circle & Icebreaker
10AM - 11:00AM: Guided Arts & Crafts Time
11:00AM - 12:00PM: Lunch indoors
12PM - 1:30PM: Heights Park Playground
1:30PM - 2PM: Afternoon Snack
2PM - 3:30PM: Gym Time
3:30PM - 4PM: Time to pack-up
4PM - 6PM: Pick up at Heights Rec Center

WHAT TO BRING FOR DAY CAMP:
 - Lunch
- Water bottle
- Closed-toe shoes
- An afternoon snacks
- Warm clothes during the winter for playground time!

Recess! 2024/2025
Recess! is a day of play for ages 5-11 during RISD Student Holidays/Staff Development days. Campers will have fun in the sun in Heights Park (weather-permitting), then we retreat inside for more activities. Please bring a lunch, water bottle, closed-toe shoes, and a snack.

Dates: Oct 11th, 14th, Nov 4th + 5th, Jan 20th and Feb 17th
Drop-off Time: 7:30am - 9:30am
Pick-up Time: 4pm - 6pm
Location: Heights Recreation Center
Cost: $40 (Oct. 11th, 14th, Jan 20th, Feb. 17th) $90 (Nov. 4th/5th) per day for early registration then becomes $55/$105 per day after the deadline. Early Registration deadline is 2 weeks before each program date.

Fall Break Camp 2024

Fall Break Camp is a 3-day program on the week of Thanksgiving for ages 5-11. Campers will enjoy various games, activities, and fall-themed crafts both indoors and outdoors (weather-permitting). Please bring a lunch, water bottle, closed-toe shoes, and a snack.

Dates: Monday, Nov 25th - Wednesday, Nov 27th, 2023
Drop-off Time: 7:30am - 9:30am
Pick-up Time: 4pm - 6pm (Wednesday, Nov. 27th Camp ends at 5:00 pm)
Location: Heights Recreation Center
Cost: $135 per day for early registration then becomes $150 after the deadline. Early Registration deadline is 2 weeks before each program date.

 *There will be no Winter Break Camps this year as the Holidays fall in the middle of the week and we have more facility closures. We look forward to adding our New, New years Break Camp!*

New Years Break Camp 2025

New Years Break Camp is hosted on Jan 2-3rd + 6th for ages 5-11. Campers will enjoy various games, activities, and winter-themed crafts both indoors and outdoors (weather-permitting). Please bring a lunch, water bottle, closed-toe shoes, a snack, and warm clothes for the playground!

We will have an outside business visit us each week to host a program at our recreation center (no travel needed!).  Visiting programs TBD!

Drop-off Time: 7:30am - 9:30am

Pick-up Time: 4pm - 6pm

Location: Heights Recreation Center

Cost: Cost: $135 for early registration then becomes $150. Early registration deadline is 2 weeks before each program date.

Spring Break Camp 2025

Spring Break Camp is held on March 10th-14th for ages 5-11. Campers will enjoy various games, activities, and spring-themed crafts both indoors and outdoors (weather-permitting). Drop off and pick-up is at the Heights Recreation Center. Please bring a lunch, water bottle, closed-toe shoes, and a snack. Visiting programs TBD!

Dates: Monday, Mar 10th - Friday, Mar 14th, 2024
Drop-off Time: 7:30am - 9:30am
Pick-up Time: 4pm - 6pm
Location: Heights Recreation Center
Cost: $215 for early registration then becomes $230. Early registration deadline is 2 weeks before each program date.

REFUND POLICY

A refund request MUST be submitted via email at least 7 days before the first day of the camp session. Refunds will not be granted after the camp session has ended nor will they be granted due to the following reasons: weather conditions, summer heat, sunburn, a camper's behavior, absence from camp, last minute plans, or camp assignments. Parents are responsible for making sure children are registered in the correct camp program or session. If an error is found after registration, please call and have it corrected before the camp season. If you were to withdraw seven days before the first day, there will be a withdrawal fee of $25 and you will be refunded the rest of the amount. This is to cover our expenses planned and organized for the camp and to find another camper to take your spot.
