Hi All,

While the weather was interesting today, all in all, it was a pretty good day to play golf. Thank you all for your patience as we figured out how to best handle today’s circumstances.

Most groups played within 4½ hours. Let’s remember, we do not want anybody on the course more than 4 ½ hours. 3 things to focus on to speed up play:

1. Ready golf. Be ready when it’s your turn. If you are ready, go ahead and hit, even if you aren’t away.
2. Limit the number of practice swings. 1 or 2 Practice swings should be enough.
3. Read your putt while others are putting. Then you’re ready to putt when it is your turn.

There were 48 players this week with “No Shows” not reported due to the iffy weather conditions. Be sure to send Mike Fountain an email at mike.fountain@cor.gov, prior to 5:00 PM Saturday afternoon if you do not want to be included in the “No Shows” the following Monday. Do not call as the Pro Shop has no procedure in place to ensure that Fountain will receive your message.
