The Home Chemical Collection Center is
Now Open to receive your Household Hazardous Waste!

 
The Home Chemical Collection Center is located in Dallas just 2 miles south of Richardson City limits.  The Center is located on the East side of Plano Road Between Forest & Miller.

City of Richardson residents must bring a driver’s license and a utility bill as proof of residence.

Household Chemical Collection Center
Hours of Operation:


Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday & Thursday  from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
 2nd and 4th Saturday each month  from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

(NOTE:  to avoid long lines and traffic on Saturdays, please plan to
arrive between 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. or between 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.)

Closed every Sunday, Monday, and Friday and major holidays.

For more information on disposal of items not listed below, please contact the Health Department at 972-744-4080 during regular business hours (8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday).

For disposal of recyclable items, please contact the City of Richardson's recycling coordinator at 972-744-4231, or 972-744-4404.

   
What materials will the Center take?


Non-commercial quantities of chemicals typically found around the house including but not limited to: paints, stains & varnishes, solvents, adhesives, pool chemicals, pesticides, lawn & garden chemicals, automotive chemicals.

In addition to chemicals, the Center also accepts:  fluorescent light bulbs, compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL's), batteries, computers, computer peripherals and monitors, and cell phones.
