Welcome to Summer Camps

The City of Richardson Sizzlin' Summer Day Camps operate under the philosophy of creating a memorable summer for every camper that comes through our program! We want children to enjoy, laugh, share, experience, create, grow, to challenge and inspire! We want each and every camper to take this experience, this memory - into their future!!

We have programs in place for children ages 5-15. Each program offers a variety of activities including, but not limited to, indoor/outdoor games, sports, arts & crafts, field trips, swimming, and visits from Special Guests! We have worked to create an environment that is not only fun, but safe as well!

2015 Camp registration will begin on March 2nd.  You can now register online for any of our summer programs!! Click here to do so!! We’ll see you at Camp!!!

Leaders in Training
Are you interested in gaining valuable experience in supervising games, sport activities, field trips and arts and crafts? Would you like to become a paid staff member? Join our Leaders in Training Program this year!
Since its establishment in 1971, Richardson Summer Program has expanded and grown to fit the needs of children, young adults and parents. This award winning program has received praise from both the Texas Recreation & Parks Society as well as the Southwest Regional NRPA.

The City of Richardson Summer Day Camps adhere to the same dress code policies that you would see in most school districts. We want our campers to be comfortable while enjoying the camp experience but we also want to stress the importance of having a dress code that will protect the rights of others and will not disrupt the flow of normal camp operations.
