Geographic Information Services

The GIS group maintains all Geographic Information System databases (digital maps), provides analytical and mapping support, and offers GIS /database expertise to City Departments. Digital maps and related information are available to the public through interactive maps at http://maps.cor.gov/maps/citymap.aspx. GIS provides coordination, training, and software support to departments that either contribute or request spatial data. Custom GIS applications are prepared in-house and distributed to City Departments. GIS also provides support to information technology projects, such as the Field Inspection, Capital Projects database and geographic imaging integration with FileNet.
