Early voting begins April 24 for May 6 election
Early voting begins Monday, April 24 for the Richardson City Council and Mayor election. Richardson residents who live in Dallas County may vote early at any Dallas County early voting location, including the Richardson Civic Center, 411 W. Arapaho Rd.
Richardson residents who live in Collin County may vote early in the Richardson City Council and Mayor election at the Richardson Civic Center or any other Dallas County early voting location.
If Richardson Collin County residents wish to vote early for Plano ISD, Collin College trustees, or the Collin College bond proposal, they must go to a Collin County early voting location.
The Renner-Frankford Library, 6400 Frankford Rd. Dallas, provides Collin County residents the option to vote early for Richardson City Council and Mayor, Plano ISD and Collin College.

RICHARDSON CITY COUNCIL
The Richardson City Council is composed of seven (7) members - six Councilmembers (Places 1 thru 6) and the Mayor (Place 7), elected by the qualified voters of the entire city to serve a two (2) year term. No person elected or appointed shall serve more than six (6) consecutive terms. The uniform election day for the City of Richardson is the first Saturday in May (odd years).
Candidates for Place 1, 2, 3, and 4 must reside in the corresponding district. Candidates for Places 5, 6 and the Mayor (Place 7) may reside in any portion of the City. Voters may cast ballots on all seven places.
