SHREDDING & ELECTRONICS RECYCLING

The CPAAA (Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association) arranges document shredding and electronic recycling events periodically as a fund raiser. 

There are no events scheduled at this time.

DRUG DISPOSAL

The Office of Diversion Control periodically schedules drug take back events on a nationwide scale.  These events are coordinated by the Police Department

10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The Health Department offers childcare training seminars periodically to assist child care providers in obtaining required CEU's.

The City of Richardson Health Department recognizes restaurants annually with this award.

 ZIKA VIRUS

 Zika (pronounced zee-kah) virus is transmitted to people by mosquitoes. The most common symptoms of Zika virus are fever, rash, joint pain, and conjunctivitis (red eyes). The illness is usually mild with symptoms lasting several days to a week. Severe disease requiring hospitalization is uncommon.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL

The Dallas County Home Chemical Collection center is available for Richardson residents.  The center is closed Mondays and Fridays, and is open every other Saturday.
