Shawn Foster, Program Manager & Director of Tennis
Shawn Foster has worked at Huffhines Tennis Center since 2000. He started playing tennis at the age of seven and was a Super Champ and Regional Tennis Qualifier for four years at North Mesquite High School. He received a NCAA division II tennis scholarship at Cameron University where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Health and Physical Education. After college, he returned to Dallas and began his professional teaching career as an Assistant Tennis Professional at Jewish Community Center from 1996-1999. Shawn served on the Dallas Professional Tennis Association Board from 2009-2011 and also on the Dallas Tennis Association Junior Team Tennis committee from 2009-2010.Currently, Shawn is a USPTA P-1 Elite certified tennis professional. He teaches all ages and levels in both group and one-on-one training. He continues to play competitively in United States Tennis Association tournaments and leagues.  

Walt Williams, Program Coordinator & Head Tennis Pro
Walt Williams is the Program Coordinator and Head Tennis Professional at Huffhines Tennis Center. He joined Huffhines in 2011, after being the Director of Junior Tennis at Greenhill Tennis Center from 2009-2011 and an Assistant Tennis Professional at Fretz Tennis Center from 2002-2009. He is a USPTA P-1 Elite certified tennis professional. Walt directs and coordinates the instructional program and the junior programming at Huffhines Tennis Center. Walt has coached many Champ and Super Champ juniors as well as numerous adult Tennis Competitors of Dallas, Metro, and USTA teams. Walt started playing tennis at the age of 5 and was a three-time High School State Runner-up at #1 Doubles in Oklahoma. Walt received his bachelor’s degree in History and played colligate tennis at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and helped lead his team to a top 10 finish nationally in 2001. Walt served on the Dallas Professional Tennis Association board from 2012-2014 and is also currently the Tournament Administrator for the Dallas Professional Tennis Association.
Kourtney Chumbley, Assistant Tennis Pro 
Kourtney Chumbley began at Huffhines Tennis Center in September 2015. Since then, she has obtained the USPTA tennis professional certification. Kourtney spends most of her time developing junior players and adult doubles players. Inspired by her grandmother, she found a love for tennis at a young age and continued to play as a junior super champ. As a junior player, she spent summers helping with local tennis camps. After graduating from Berkner High School, she accepted a tennis scholarship to Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. While at Ouachita she participated in both the Gulf South Conference and the Great American Conference. During her four years, she competed on the top doubles team for her university and varied between the first and third line for singles. When she wasn’t practicing and competing, she taught tennis to children and adults in the Arkadelphia area. Upon graduating from Ouachita, she moved back to Texas to continue coaching. She strives to aid in the development of competent individuals and competitive players.
Ryan Mullins, Assistant Tennis Pro
Ryan Mullins has worked at Huffhines Tennis Center since 2004. He started playing tennis when he was 9 years old and took lessons for the first time at Huffhines Tennis Center with Shawn Foster. Ryan played Varsity tennis all 4 years at Canyon Creek Christian Academy and went to the State tournament every year. He then played 2 years for Brookhaven Community College before attending Texas A&M University, which he graduated in 2014. Ryan Mullins has served 4 years in the United States Air Force before joining the Reserves to pursue his coaching future. He has been coaching for 6 years and all of them being at Huffhines Tennis Center. Ryan is USPTA certified for 2 years now and has taught all ages and skill levels. He continues to better himself through playing tennis tournaments and attending conferences through USPTA.
