Canyon Creek Pool and Glenville Pool will be open for Memorial Day Weekend, 1-8 p.m.
Canyon Creek Pool, Glenville Pool, Terrace Pool and Cottonwood Pool will open to the public for daily use on Saturday, June 1st.

We look forward to a great Summer 2013!  

The City of Richardson has five outdoor pools for public swimming. In addition to the main pools, Glenville Pool has a splash playground and Terrace Pool and Canyon Creek Pool have baby pools. Scheduled Learn-to-Swim and Lifesaving classes are taught by Red Cross certified instructors. A fee is charged based on the individual class.  The Parents Aquatics Guide for Summer 2013 will be available soon.

Canyon Creek Pool, Glenville Pool, Terrace Pool and Cottonwood Pool will be open to the public beginning on Saturday, June 1st and will close for the season on August 11th.

Upon completion of construction, Heights Family Aquatic Center will be open for daily use through August 18th, open the weekends of August 24-25 and August 31-September 2 and will close for the season on September 2nd.

Canyon Creek Pool, Glenville Pool, Terrace Pool & Cottonwood Pool Fees

All children under 7 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult 16 years or older in a swimming suit. The adult must be in the water within arm’s reach at all times while the child is in the pool. If your child limits his/her use to the baby pool areas, you must remain with your child, but it is not necessary to wear a swim suit and you will not be charged a fee.

Lessons
Learn-to-swim classes are taught during the summer. Each session guarantees eight lessons, five days a week for two weeks. Morning and evening classes are available. Lessons are $50 for Richardson residents, $52 for non-residents.

Reservations
During the summer months, pools may be reserved before and after public service hours for private parties. Fees are charged based on the size of the group. The splash playground area is also available for rental. Call the Aquatics Office at (972) 744-7893. Reservations must be made by Richardson residents and can be made beginning May 1st for the Summer 2013 season.
