Here’s the part where you can make an impact on disaster preparedness within Richardson. In the Think section, we identified many of the potential hazards we face and in the Prepare section, we learned how to ready ourselves by making a plan and building an emergency supply kit. The Act section will provide you with practical information that can get you plugged into a volunteer network, give you helpful information on sheltering-in-place vs. evacuating, and help you deal with disaster recovery. In the event disaster strikes, you’ll need to respond and Act instantly. |
