The TexShare Card is a statewide library card that allows you to borrow materials from participating libraries throughout Texas.

To obtain a TexShare Card from the Richardson Public Library, you must be a Richardson resident, have had your Richardson Public Library card for six months or longer, and be a member in good standing. Patrons meeting these requirements should apply for the TexShare Card at the first floor Circulation Desk in the library. Please note that the TexShare Card has an expiration date.

To make use of your TexShare Card, present the card at the circulation desk of a participating library. Please note that registration and lending policies are set by each participating library. Specific policies are available at the Libraries and Catalogs link on the TexShare Web.

Return materials borrowed from another library to that library by the due date. Fees will be assessed for lost, late, or damaged materials.

For more information or to verify whether you qualify for a TexShare card, call the Circulation desk at 972-744-4363.
