We were blessed today with the perfect weather to be on the golf course. What looked like certain showers throughout the morning didn’t materialize. We were honored with the presents of three of our “Super Seniors”, John Brigance and Pat Beeby with the third, a former league member, Jim Baynham, who made the trip from Georgia to join us. We also had a good turnout for lunch following play at Desperados. Thanks to Mona for the hard work she put in to tally and distribute the prize fund.
The following link is of the Richardson City Council meeting this past Monday night. When you open the link, click on “Work Session Item C” which is to “Review and Discuss the budget and capital improvements for Sherrill Park Golf Course.
It is a preliminary discussion, but you may find it of interest. If you noticed this morning when we started, Ronny Glanton was riding around the course with two city council members to show them the condition of the course.
