Recycle Electronics and Shred Documents Saturday at City Hall

You can dispose of old electronics and have documents shredded tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 12) at the Richardson City Hall parking lot during the annual event hosted by the Richardson Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association.

The event will also feature an appearance by Recycling Richie, Richardson’s recycling mascot.

Electronics Recycling

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Hall, 411 W. Arapaho Rd. Acceptable items include, but are not limited to:

Cell phones Speakers Cameras
GPS devices Keyboards Inkjet cartridges
Calculators Headphones Printers
MP3 Players Cable boxes Scanners
DVD Players Televisions Shredders
Desktop and
laptop computers
VCRs Routers

Shredding will be limited to what can fit into a car. The documents will be destroyed on site, safely and securely. There is no charge to drop off electronics or documents for shredding, but donations will be accepted.
