The Dallas Business Journal today announced that two Richardson economic development projects are finalists for the Best Real Estate Deals of 2013.
CityLine, being developed by KDC, is a finalist in the Mixed-Use Development Deal category. Construction on the first phase is underway, including three of four office buildings totaling 2 million square feet to be leased by State Farm. The focal point of the initial phase will be CityLine Plaza, a centrally located landscaped plaza. More than 92,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment venues with sidewalk cafes and patio seating will frame CityLine Plaza and State Street.
Collins Center/Associa is a finalist in the Rehab/Reuse Deal category. The nation’s leading community association management firm recently opened a new, state-of-the-art, 60,000 square foot shared services center at 1225 Alma Rd. in Richardson. The center expects to bring nearly 600 jobs to Richardson.
