Second graders from Northrich Elementary School visited Richardson City Hall on Thursday for the sixth Richie’s Recycling Roundup.
Public Services staff—including Richie, the City’s recycling mascot—taught the students about Richardson’s recycling program. They learned what items are accepted for recycling, as well as why it’s important to recycle. The western-themed event concluded with an obstacle course, where kids were cheered on by their classmates and Richie.
