Richardson State of the City Address to Highlight Major 2012 Accomplishments

Successes include planned $1.6 billion development at Bush Turnpike Station, largest office lease in D/FW history, construction of new regional hospital and imminent opening of “coolest movie theater in the world”

WHAT: Mayor Bob Townsend will present Richardson’s State of the City Address during an open-to-the-public event at Richardson’s Eisemann Center. During the address, he will highlight the recently announced $1.6 billion in planned developments surrounding the DART Bush Turnpike Station, among other major, recent successes.

In addition, Mayor Townsend’s remarks will focus on the Richardson City Council’s statement of goals for various “areas of excellence” and the City’s 2012 accomplishments in each of those focus areas.
