Richardson road crews reported for duty at 3 p.m. today and are on standby to sand bridges and intersections as needed based on hazardous road conditions. Roadway temperatures were down around freezing around 2 p.m. today, and forecasted temperatures are expected to remain at or below freezing throughout the evening and into tomorrow.
Significant snowfall is expected to end around midnight tonight, but icy road conditions will persist throughout the evening and into tomorrow morning with wind chill values dipping into the single digits and teens.
