Urban Naturalist: Edible, Medicinal, & Useful Plants of N. TX
Participants must register before attending any of the Richardson Urban Naturalist programs and each has a maximum number of participants of 25. Children are encouraged to attend and those under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. $5 registration for Adults 18 and over. Join Bob Richie on a guided nature walk to learn about edible and medicinal plants that grow in the North Texas region. From trees to grasses to "weeds", participants will learn about the historic uses for these plants as medicine, food and even shelter.
