Use your creativity to design a boat using only cardboard and plastic wrap. Bring your constructed boat to Cottonwood Pool and race against the competition! Two to six people allowed per boat.

Design Rules
The entire boat must be constructed from cardboard. Only items listed in the allowed materials list will be accepted. Please do not use any wax, special coating or items that may be considered dangerous to the participants and the facility.

Allowed Materials

• Corrugated cardboard from stores
• Cardboard blocks, tubes, etc.
• Plastic wrap as fastening materials

Material Not Allowed

• Pretreated or treated cardboard, styrofoam or wood
• Fastening materials such as caulking products, staples, clamps, screws, silicon or wax.

Please note, the City of Richardson will not supply the building materials.
