Find it with Google:  A Hands-on Workshop

This class will show users how to . . .

• Use special operators and the Advanced Search feature to improve search results
• Find the right search terms and evaluate them
• Find photos and videos using Google Images and YouTube
• Use Google like a calculator, or to quickly find job listings, local movie times, weather forecasts, and more
• Learn about other Google search tools--such as Google Translate, Google Books, and Google Scholar

Attendees will be tasked with finding information using these tools during the class.  Laptops provided.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  Please call 972-744-4359 beginning August 25 to register - Richardson residency and a valid Richardson Public Library Card is required.
