The City’s Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan is updated every 10 years. Through the gathering of public input, the master plan establishes community needs and desires, setting the course for future projects.
The Active Transportation Plan is being developed to identify bicycle, pedestrian, access to transit, and micro-mobility needs. This will help create a network that is more accessible and usable by all ages and abilities in Richardson.
The public input process allows people to provide feedback used to develop the plans. In addition to public meetings, focus groups, stakeholder sessions, and other forms of input are also underway.
