This event is part of week-long celebration of CS Education Week (Dec 9-15, 2013). We would like to invite Dallas area families to UT Dallas Campus on Saturday, December 14th to learn what Computer Science is all about & why the children should consider college education in Computer Science. Guests can come any time between 10am to 5pm & spend as little as 1/2 hour to review a few demos, OR you can stay as long as they want to explore all the tools, attend a few talks or complete "An Hour of Code" self-paced tutorial in a CS lab!
Demos (10 am to 5 pm):
We plan to have several stations throughout ECSS building – each one highlighting a learning tool or software application:
