Members of the Routh Cemetery Commission will place 50 of 107 unknown grave markers on grave sites in the cemetery April 5 at 9 a.m. The cemetery is located about 100 yards northeast of the corner of Glenville Drive and Routh Creek Parkway. The Spring Creek Nature Trails are located just north across the creek.
This is just the first step the association is taking to preserve this piece of history. Time and vandalism have taken their toll on the present monuments and markers. If you would like to help in any way, contact Bill Denton at 972-742-2918.
