Custer Park playground meeting
Public meetings will be held beginning this week to seek input on what residents think about proposed play equipment layouts for four playgrounds in local parks.
Voters authorized the parks – Custer, Glenville, Mimosa and Yale – to receive new playgrounds as part of the 2010 Bond Program. In addition to receiving new equipment, the playground at Custer will be relocated to the north side of the park near the restrooms and tennis courts.The meetings will feature a short presentation by City staff, complete with renderings of the proposed designs. Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions and give their input following the presentation.
