On average, leaks account for 10,000 gallons of water wasted per household, per year! The City of Richardson is providing a workshop to share hands-on, leak fixing advice for your home. Jeff Winstead, a master plumber and vice president of Winstead Plumbing Company, Inc., will share his expertise on how to fix common leaks and upgrade to water efficient fixtures that will save you water and money.

Topics covered will include how to:

• Check and fix leaky faucets
• Simple toilet leak fixes
• Installation of high-efficiency show heads and faucet aerators
• Information about water heaters
