Urban Naturalist: Animal Architecture & Unique Homes
Participants must register before attending any of the Richardson Urban Naturalist programs and each has a maximum number of participants of 25. Children are encouraged to attend and those under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. $5 registration for Adults 18 and over. A special program for young naturalists! It is truly amazing how the wild creatures in our natural areas are so innovative with their building techniques for providing shelter and food. This very unique program will be presented to our younger Richardson Urban Naturalists by Sandy Penz and will include some interactive opportunities with animal architecture present in the natural environment. Discovery Point is an outdoor educational area in Prairie Creek Park and some walking in the park should be anticipated. The program is limited to 25 young naturalists of all ages at $5 each but children must be accompanied by a non-paying adult.
