Free Tax Prep Help
The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) is offering free tax preparation help through April 15 at Heights and Huffhines Recreation Centers. Those wishing to take part need to complete an AARP tax packet, available at the Library and the recreation centers.
Time: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (Appointments are available only on Mondays and Wednesdays)

Student Art Contest
Calling all elementary artists! Kids in grades K-6 can enter the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival’s Student Art Contest. Participants could win prizes and tickets to Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival. The theme of this year’s contest is “Take a Walk in the Park.”

Cenicienta: A Bilingual Cinderella Story
Ten-year-old Belinda is a budding poet and loves to tell stories, but when she’s stuck in the basement preparing for a party upstairs that her stepmother and stepsisters will host, she’ll have to be creative. It’s a story within a story; Belinda lives out her version while also re-enacting the classic tale of “Cinderella.”

Eggstravaganza 2024
Hop into spring with the Richardson Parks and Recreation Department’s Easter Eggstravaganza 2024. Activities will include an egg hunt, library storytime, photos with the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts and yard games.

Disc Golf Tournament
Registration is underway for the third annual Richardson Disc Golf Tournament. The tournament will feature one round (18 holes) of singles play. Registration ends April 24.
