Permit Fee Schedule

Two sets of the following construction documents are required for review:

  • Scaled floor plan indicating existing and proposed conditions. Please use 1/4" or 1/8” scale
     
  • Floor plan showing each room or space, proposed use and exits
  • Wall section of interior partitions and demising walls
  • Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing drawings, if applicable
  • 2018 COMcheck Energy Compliance Calculations

Verification that an asbestos survey has been performed in accordance with the Texas Asbestos Health Protection Rules and the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for the area(s) being renovated and/or demolished. Projects with a value of $50,000 or greater require registration with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to verify compliance with Texas Accessibility Standards. Must provide proof of submission.

Drawings must be signed and sealed in accordance with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners and the Texas Board of Professional Engineers requirements. 

All site modifications to a property require site plan approval through Development Services prior to issuance of building permit. For information please contact Development Services at 972-744-4240.

The permit must be approved and posted at the property prior to any work commencing.
