After registering with the Building Inspection Department, contractors looking for miscellaneous permits involving electrical, plumbing, gas or mechanical repairs or replacements may create an online account. Online Permits
The types of permits you may obtain online are miscellaneous permits involving electrical, plumbing, gas or mechanical repairs or replacements. Most of these permits require a licensed contractor to obtain the permit and perform the work. The permits may be purchased using VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.
To validate under an existing building permit, complete a contractor's voucher and email it to permits@cor.gov. Please call 972-744-4180 for questions.
