Roof Repair / Replacement
A permit is required for any roof replacement/recovering or repair which exceeds 25% of the total roof area. The purpose of the permit is to ensure that the proper codes are being followed. An inspection is required upon installation of the roof deck, (if applicable) and a final inspection is required upon completion.

The building permit must be approved and posted at the property prior to any work commencing. All contractors must be registered to perform work in the City of Richardson.
