Capital Projects and Engineering is responsible for the implementation of the City of Richardson's Capital Improvement Programs including General Obligation Bond Programs (G.O.) and Certificate of Obligation Bond Programs (C.O.).

The department periodically presents CIP Status Reports of current capital improvement programs. In addition to managing funded capital improvement programs, the department also maintains an inventory of capital needs that can be used to develop new bond programs.
