Adult Winter Reading Club - Bundle Up with Books
June 1 - August 4
Join in our Adult Summer Reading Club and earn a chance to win prizes!
How to participate:
- Register on Beanstack starting June 1. Click here to go to Beanstack.
- Read or listen to 5 -10 Adult or Young Adult level books and record their titles.
- Additionally, attending 2 library programs counts toward completing the challenge. Choose from:
- Library programs for adults in June and July
- The Sugar Free Allstars all-ages concert for kids
- Dewey Knit, the Library's knitting group. Join knitters of all abilities for an informal gathering of enthusiasts. Meetings are in the Library Millwood Creek Room on the first Saturday of each month from 2-4 pm. Join us on July 6 for a meeting that counts toward the Summer Reading Club requirements.
- Any bookclub for adults:
- BOOKbabble – literary fiction or narrative memoirs
- REAL Reads – nonfiction
- Droids and Druids – science fiction
- Romantic Interludes – romance
- Participants who record at least five completed books on Beanstack and two library programs attended in June and July will be entered into the prize raffle.
- Complete the challenge to enter the raffle to win gift cards from Cake Carousel, Calloway's, Del's, Sweet Firefly, or Eiland Coffee Roasters.
- Visit Desk 1 to enter for a chance to win seven RROB books, a signed tote, and a crocheted octopus.
Reading logs due by 5 PM on August 4.
The raffle will be held after the challenge ends on August 4, 2024.
Open to adults 18 and up.
