In addition to regularly-scheduled clubs and computer classes, Richardson Public Library offers special events to educate and entertain adults. Past topics have included art and photography shows, adult storytelling, the Richardson Reads One Book program, and special lectures on history and genealogy.

What is “Intellectual Property?” Join us as attorney Kandace Walter explains the basics of intellectual property and protecting your creations. You will leave knowing the difference between patent, trademark and copyright.

In her photo-filled presentation, Tui shares forgotten North Texas burial history, including: Who was the Jesus in cowboy boots? What happened to $10,000 worth of gold buried beneath a cemetery tree? and more. Also, in honor of Veterans Day, Tui will talk about US military headstones: how to ID different kinds, and which symbols to look for.
