2023 Tax Forms

• The Library currently has these forms:
  • 1040
  • 1040 Instructions
  • 1040-SR (an alternative form to the 1040 for senior citizens)
  • Publication 4604 (small flyers with instructions on how to view/download/print forms or ask for forms by mail)
  • 1040 forms in Spanish
  • 1040-SR forms in Spanish

These documents are available in the wooden bookcase on display right as you enter the Library.

Tax forms are also available . . .

• from the IRS website.
• by calling the IRS at 1-800-829-1040
• for printing by the Library staff for $0.15 per page

2023 - AARP Free Tax Preparation Help 

Tax preparation appointments will be held at recreation centers on the dates below:

• February 5 – April 15, 9 am-3 pm, last appointment at 2 pm
  • Mondays at Huffhines Recreation Center
  • Wednesdays at Heights Recreation Center
• Complete an AARP tax packet and bring to your appointment. Packets are available at the Library and Recreation Centers.
• By appointment only
• Two ways to make an appointment: 
  • Call 469-609-0903 and leave a message. AARP will return your call as soon as they are able. 
  • Quickest option: fill out a request online for Huffhines or for Heights
    • Note: Sometimes these links can time out or become busy. You can also try this general appointment and tax locator link.
