CURBSIDE PICKUP is available for all cardholders

Monday to Thursday:  9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Friday to Saturday:  10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Sunday:  2 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

What to do:

1) SEARCH for items in the Library's catalog and place them on HOLD if you are a Richardson resident. Alternately, you may call the Library (972-744-4350) to request items to be saved for you (a service for all cardholders).

WAIT to be notified that those items are ready for pick up (usually 24 hours).

3) Once you receive the notification, drive to the Library.

) PARK in any available library parking spot.

) CALL 972-744-4363 from the parking lot. Your items will be checked out to your Library Card and delivered to your trunk.

Curbside Delivery is only available for checking out books, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks. For all other services, please inquire by calling 972-744-4350.

  To Use Curbside Delivery

  • Your Library Card must be current and in good standing. For questions regarding expired cards, please contact the Library at 972-744-4350.
  • This service is for picking up items on HOLD ONLY. No other transactions will be handled curbside.  
  • Return all items using the outside book drop; staff will not bring them in from a patron's car.
