City Council Approves District Boundary
Adjustments At April 25, 2022 Meeting

Richardson's City Council approved new Council district boundaries during their their April 25, 2022 meeting. The Council district boundary adjustments were recommended by the Council District Boundary Commission. Additional information:

 

The Council District Boundary Commission serves as an advisory body to the City Council in making recommendations to review the Richardson's City Council district boundaries in order to maintain a substantial equality of population in each district. They shall advise the city council, who shall within six (6) months of appointment fix the boundaries by ordinance, if necessary.

At their January 24, 2022 meeting, the City Council appointed the members of the City Plan Commission to serve as the 2022 Council District Boundary Commission.
