Trash Bash 2011
A special thanks goes to all of the organizations and individuals that volunteered to help clean up the City of Richardson at the 2011 Trash Bash! In total, volunteers collected over 5,000 pounds of trash and over 2,000 pounds of recyclable material, and over 20,000 pounds of documents were shredded. Red Oak trees were also distributed to participants in honor of Arbor Day.

Live Green Expo 2011
The City of Richardson participates in the regional Live Green Expo every year to help educate North Texans on different ways to be green and to inform residents of different environmental initiatives taking place in the City.

Wildflower! 2010
Wildflower! 2010 was a record setting year for recycling with nearly 17 tons of recyclable materials collected, which was 69% of the overall waste. The Public Services department's booth, pictured above, made recycling fun for kids during the music festival.

Live Green Expo 2010
The Expo is a family friendly event, which provides numerous opportunities for Richardson residents to learn more about Green issues including clean energy production, energy efficient building methods, and more.
