Central Trail connects to Spring Creek Trail to the north and runs south all the way to the city limits, roughly parallel to US 75. The Central Trail forms the central spine of the city's trail system, which covers more than forty miles of trails and walkways and serves to connect parks, recreation centers and other areas of the city. The Central Trail could be enhanced by donations or sponsorships allowing the installation of the following:

Landscaping/Trees $450-$500

Additional trees can be added along the Central Trail with the donor and the City of Richardson sharing equally in the expense. Four inch caliper trees are typically $450-$500, but can vary depending on the type of tree. The Parks and Recreation Department will assist the donor in locating an appropriate location for the tree.
