2023 Dart to State Fair

DART to the State Fair 

DART is adding scheduled stops to its light-rail service to better accommodate visitors to the State Fair of Texas which runs through Sunday, Oct. 22.  

Extra Green Line trains will run between Victory Station and Lawnview Station from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 9 a.m.-to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. During those hours, trains on that portion of the Green Line will run approximately every 10 minutes.  

Orange Line service will be extended to Plano’s Parker Road Station on all trips, weekdays and weekends.

At this public input opportunity concerning park playground improvements, staff will make a brief presentation with some general information about playground design and have color renderings of the preliminary conceptual play equipment layout for people to review and discuss. De Yun She Global Tour

De Yun She Global Tour 

When it comes to the Chinese comedic performance style known as xiansheng, De Yun She are in a league of their own. The group was formed more than 20 years ago by actor, comedian and impresario Guo Degang. The group has been instrumental in the wider revival and increasingly international popularity.

Fork Off

Network’s Food Pantry Fork Off

Network of Community Ministries will host its fourth annual “Fork Off” event. This highly anticipated annual event promises a unique experience as local restaurants and chefs showcase their culinary creations, accompanied by dancing, engaging live and silent auctions, an apron contest and an array of activities. The primary goal of this event is to generate funds that directly contribute to Network’s programs.
