Culture in The CORE - Postponed Until Nov. 16

Due to weather concerns, Culture in The Core has been rescheduled from Saturday, Nov. 2 to Saturday, Nov. 16. This is a free, family-friendly event that brings together Richardson’s diverse communities to have fun, to learn and to experience the music, dance, food and arts of different cultures.

“Anatomy of a Murder” 

After losing his re-election bid for District Attorney. Paul Biegler is not looking forward to becoming a defense attorney. However, his first case is sensational. A lieutenant is accused of murdering the bartender who allegedly assaulted his wife. It’s a high stakes battle of wit and determination, as Biegler uses every device to save the officer’s neck.

“The 39 Steps” 

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have “The 39 Steps,” a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theater.

Fall Tree Giveaway 

On Texas Arbor Day, pick up a tree from the City’s last Richardson Replants fall tree-giveaway event. This program is helping restore Richardson’s tree canopy after the severe weather event in May. Desert Willow, Chinkapin Oak and Peach trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. A driver’s license with a Richardson address is required to take home a tree.

First Fridays - Camp Magic

First Fridays 

The Eisemann Center hosts a small reception on the first Friday night of each month completely free and open to the public to celebrate the new exhibit in the Forrest and Virginia Green Mezzanine Gallery. November will feature artist Melanie Brannam’s solo exhibition, “Camp Magic,” benefitting Camp Esperanza for Children with Cancer.
